SEED & SILK
DYED & FOUND MYSELF AGAIN
ART AND YOGA ESCAPE
Pescadero, Baja Mexico
April 24th-28th
Meet Your Hosts
Meet Abbie, owner of Seed & Silk and creator of the annual art and yoga retreat.
While on a transforming solo, self created retreat, she had the idea of sharing this life changing experience with others. Her desire is to hold a safe space for women to create, grow and let go of that which does not serve them any longer.
Abbie made the tough decision to close her floral company she ran for the past nine years, and focus her energy on creating meaningful art through the form of natural dyeing. She is currently a full time textile artist and educator. She lives in the Vail Valley and is setting roots in Baja, Mexico. Her passions include spending time in nature, photography, art/design and forever chasing her dream of creating another flower farm.
Meet Jill, a mama, entrepreneur, massage therapist and movement geek. Her passion lies in all things related to our human body and human experience. Her studies include massage therapy, yoga with an emphasis on functional movement & optimal alignment and somatic movement education. She is beyond excited to create classes for this retreat that support (re)connection to your SELF.
Elisabeth Chávez Rivera and her team will be cooking creative and healthy meals for the week. Her passion lies in creating a Mexican fusion without losing touch with her Mexican roots and culture. Her dishes are highly praised by many people who visit from all over the world.
Hesed and Eva are a dynamic duo in the healing world. Eva focuses on therapeutical and somatic movement. She creates a safe environment to explore the body with an holistic view of movement being attentive to the alignment of our whole structure. Eva has developed a fine tuned intuitive side which she is developing through sound healing ceremonies. Hesed has a diverse background in massage therapy, yoga, and ayurveda, and recently opened Aureo wellness center in Pescadero.
